Toddler Time

Pre-School Gymnastics

 At this stage of development, your toddler is exploring new physical abilities like running and jumping. In this 60-minute class, your toddler will have the chance to swing, jump, roll, and learn the basics of gymnastics using our high-quality equipment and experienced instructors.

 At this stage of development, your toddler is exploring new physical abilities like running and jumping. In this 60-minute class, your toddler will have the chance to swing, jump, roll, and learn the basics of gymnastics using our high-quality equipment and experienced instructors. 


Enrolling your toddler in gymnastics classes offers numerous benefits, including opportunities for socialization, allowing your toddler to engage in group activities and share props, which supports & facilitates social learning.


Parent participation is required in this class. Your role is to introduce your child to the equipment while the instructor encourages them to try new skills. You are responsible for supervising your child throughout the session.


It is highly recommended that children under 2 and a half years old, who are new to the program, start in this class. Building trust, comfort, and confidence in the space and instructors is crucial before transitioning to the next level of classes.

 Our Pre-school class is 60-minutes long & is available for 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds. Students in these classes learn fundamental gymnastics skills such as rolling, handstands, and cartwheels using various gym equipment including the spring floor, rings, jumping into the pit, trampoline, bars, and balance beam.

The objective of this class is not only to teach gymnastics techniques but also to boost the child's self-assurance by providing opportunities for success in the gym. 


Kids who participate in this class can apply newly learned skills to various parts of their lives & other activities.

Beginner Level 1

 This one-hour class is designed for children ages 5 & older who are beginners in gymnastics. Your child will learn and practice skills on various equipment such as bars, vault, trampoline, balance beam, and floor exercise.

We believe in empowering students by providing opportunities for success while also pushing them physically. Our teaching philosophy encourages growth and self-esteem in a supportive environment.


Students will learn new techniques to learn rolls, shapes, bridges, splits, jumps, cartwheels, and pullovers. They will become well versed in each event.

Beginner Level 2

 This one-hour class is intended for students who have successfully completed the Beginner Level 1 class and are prepared for a more advanced level of training. By this stage, students have acquired a fundamental grasp of each gymnastics event and have been taught important safety measures, such as proper head positioning during rolls and

 This one-hour class is intended for students who have successfully completed the Beginner Level 1 class and are prepared for a more advanced level of training. By this stage, students have acquired a fundamental grasp of each gymnastics event and have been taught important safety measures, such as proper head positioning during rolls and safe landing techniques. A Level 2 gymnast continues to refine skills learned in Level 1 but with a greater emphasis on mastery. For instance, a Level 2 gymnast may have mastered a cartwheel and is now ready to progress to learning a roundoff on the floor.


SKILLS:

  • VAULT: Running, Board work, Pop-ups, Handstand flatbacks.
  • BARS: Back hip-circle, Glide swing, Pullover up the wall.
  • BEAM: Walking, Kicks, Turns, Jumps, Dismounts.
  • FLOOR: Round-off, Handstand forward-roll, Back bend, Bridge kick-over down the cheese.

 For gymnasts who have mastered skills from Level 2. There is an emphasis on strength, flexibility and form. A student in the intermediate class has a solid foundation in the basics of all gymnastics events and is prepared to advance to a more dynamic level of training. For instance, the student has mastered the technique of performing a

A student in the intermediate class has a solid foundation in the basics of all gymnastics events and is prepared to advance to a more dynamic level of training. For instance, the student has mastered the technique of performing a roundoff and is now ready to enhance their skills by incorporating speed and power into a running roundoff. At this level, gymnast will begin incorporating more conditioning & strength training.

This class dedicates time to each gymnastics event, including vault, bars, beam, and floor exercise.


SKILLS:

  • VAULT: Handstand Flat-backs, Sticking Jumps-off, Running to Board Pop-on, Handstand Dismount Off.
  • BARS: Pullovers, Tap swings, Glides, Castaways & Circles.
  • BEAM: Cartwheels, Jump Combinations, Dismounts.
  • FLOOR: Back Walkover, Front walkover, Front handsprings, Dive roll.

Advanced Level 4

 For advanced gymnasts who have mastered skills from Intermediate Level 3. This level prepares the gymnasts for our pre-team and/or high school competition team. Gymnasts that reach Level 4 will work more tailored skills to their talents. Putting together skills appropriate for routines that fit them best. Gymnast will be working on runni

Gymnasts that reach Level 4 will work more tailored skills to their talents. Putting together skills appropriate for routines that fit them best. Gymnast will be working on running tumbling by connecting skills, practicing cartwheels on the high beams, learns the fundamentals of front handsprings on vault, and mastering jumping to the high bar with a squat on.


SKILLS:

  • VAULT: Front handsprings & Handstand flat backs.
  • BARS: Fly aways, Long hang pullover, Squat-ons to High Bar & Develop a Routine..

Tiny Hot Shots

MAGA Competition Team

Pre-Competitive Team

Our Tiny Hot Shots and Pre-team are both developmental programs designed to help young girls transition from preschool classes up to the competitive team. 


 

Skills required to register: Pullover, bridge kick over down the cheese, handstand and cartwheel. 


Ages 4.5 to 7 years old. Class is required 2 days a week.

Pre-Competitive Team

Our Pre Team Program is designed for young girls who aspire to join our competitive team in the future. Gymnast will benefit from pre-team training by our emphasizes on strength building and essential technique needed for higher levels of gymnastics & competition. 


Compared to a beginner class, pre-team places a greater emphasis on proper technique and execution. This focus on technique, combined with additional training hours, helps kids prepare for the demands of competitive gymnastics. These gymnasts will compete in one competition a year.

MAGA Competition Team

 This class is only for gymnasts who are invited by their instructors. 


Our MAGA team program focuses on preparing gymnasts to be successful at competing, through mastering technique, learning high level skills & competition routines.


Students are required to take class 3-4 days a week. This is a year round team program, with competition season running November through March. Our gym will host 3 competitions a year & our gymnast will also travel local to 4-5 additional competitions.

 Want extra practice to achieve your skills? Private lessons are a great way to help your child gain skills at a faster pace. With individual attention, the coach can focus on your child’s specific needs and the progressions necessary for improvement. Semi-private lesson are available upon special request.

Tumbling For Dancers

 These one-hour classes concentrate primarily on tumbling and flipping in gymnastics, utilizing the floor, trampolines, and Tumble Tracks. The class is tailored for students with minimal to no tumbling experience and is open to all students aged 5 and above. Our aim is to help your child develop the necessary body control, strength, and t

The class is tailored for students with minimal to no tumbling experience and is open to all students aged 5 and above. Our aim is to help your child develop the necessary body control, strength, and technique to perform flips, twists, and turns safely! 


Emphasis is placed on body positioning and strength development while mastering the basics of tumbling. These non-competitive classes are ideal for students interested in cross-training for sports like dance & cheerleading.

Summer Camps

Our gymnastics summer camps are designed for kids age 5 and above, our campers will have a blast with days packed full of gymnastics, exciting games and so much more! Our camp will not only be fun for your child but will assist in developing athletic skills, confidence and discipline. Our gym is filled with top-of-the-line equipment for your child to run, jump, swing, and bounce on, and our highly trained Camp Coaches are on hand to properly lead and train them on the fundamentals of the sport. In addition to gymnastics, Summer Camp at J&O Gymnastics also includes educational activities, arts & crafts, and a different theme for each week in the summer!

Birthday Parties

The birthday child and their guests - ages 4 years old and older will join our coaches on our floor for gymnastics and gymnastics activities while grown ups are invited to sit back and relax in our spacious and air conditioned gymnastics room. This time includes guided use of trampolines, beams, bars, foam pits, etc. Guests have the opportunity to jump, tumble and even learn a new gymnastics skill!

These parties run for 2 hours with 1.5 hours being on the floor and half an hour of food, cake & socialization in the party room.

After gymnastics activities our coaches lead guests into the party room for food, cake and celebrating. Our staff will handle serving food, cutting cake and cleaning up.
