J&O Gymnastics has four competitive gymnastics teams that participate in the Midwest Amateur Gymnastics Association (MAGA). MAGA offers competitions for all levels of ability in Minnesota and surrounding areas, including Iowa, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota. The MAGA program serves as a feeder program for high school gymnastics, using the same rules as the high school programs. Gymnasts have the chance to compete against other teams and are judged based on their age groups. This program is year round program with the competition season running from November to March.
Our primary objective at J&O Gymnastics is to provide a positive, safe, and fun experience for all of our gymnasts. Our goal as staff members is to develop not only great gymnasts, but also well-rounded people! Through a well-organized and disciplined program, we hope to give each gymnast the opportunity to meet their goals. We wish to provide high quality coaching, striving to be competitive at any division we are in. Long-term goals for our gymnasts include placing individually in meets, being successful as a team and being happily accepted into any high school program. Through gymnastics the girls will improve their self-esteem, learn goal setting and sportsmanship, stay physically fit and have an activity that is both challenging and rewarding.
We currently have four competition teams, The Queens, Duchess, Princess, & Countess. We host three competitions a year and travel in the area to 3-5 additional competitions.
